A Statement Ring
By Lalita Tawjareon
I bought this ring some months ago because I thought and still think Nicole Richie has some cool jewelry designs and I especially liked her Tribal jewelry collection. This is my first and only House of Harlow piece so far. The locket part of the ring measures about two inches in height. This is honestly the biggest and heaviest ring I've ever worn in my life. And I wore it to work one day. I don't know how Nicole Richie does it, as petite as she is, wearing all the heavy statement jewelry pieces she designs and wears. The tribal design and turquoise cabochons on this ring are eye-catching. And I do like that the locket part stays in place with magnets. I bought a Tina Tarantino lip gloss ring a while back, and the lip gloss ring would have been better if it was in a magnetic form like this ring. It's up to you what you want to put in the ring. You can probably insert two oval shaped pictures inside the ring. I think this ring is perfect for going out in the evening or nighttime. It's just too heavy to wear at work. It's a nice concept and a different statement ring. Maybe in the future, I'll buy a smaller and lighter ring from House of Harlow so that I could wear it at work.
